It is my pleasure to provide some information that I hope will help you to enjoy the area and its attractions. La dolce vita is waiting!

I am always ready to help so please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Enjoy the tranquility, the typical villages, the countryside with its variety of flora and fauna, the Adriatic Sea, the Sibillini Mountains, the local food and wine. It’s the ideal place to experience the pure and authentic Italy.

There are books and others information on Le Marche available on the table, in the main room. The magazine Corriere Proposte has lists of events, markets and concerts.

The tap water is safe to drink. Please do not smoke inside the rooms and use the sand ashtrays outside as there is a high fire risk in the countryside. The rooms are cleaned once a week and the bed linen and towels are changed once a week.Towels for the swimming pool can be found in your room.

During the summer we recommend that you close the shutters during the day. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms to cool the room at night. These are more environmentally friendly and healthier than air conditioners.

I run an eco-friendly Agriturismo, please help us to care for the environment. Please turn off the lights when you go out. Please do not leave the water running. Please put your rubbish in the correct bins this is near the parking areaThank you for helping to preserve the natural environment at Ramusè. Mother Nature is all around us take care when walking we recommend you wear shoes

Ramusè

The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, using terracotta bricks and stones from the original building. The tiles in the bathrooms and the single piece shower tray are travertine marble from the Ascoli mine.

The washbasins and lamps are hand crafted from in local workshop by the famous potter Mr Bozzi. It is not known how old Ramusè is however during the renovation several roman coins were found and can be seen in my office.

Eating and drinking in Ramusè

I try to follow the rhythm of the seasons of nature.

You will always discover something new in Ramusè depending on the time of year. My food is very important to me and I only use the best fresh local produce, grown on my farm or sourced from local farms using traditional methods. The food served in Ramusè is listed in the restaurant with the origin and the producer. They are constantly looking for small local suppliers who focus on quality.

Please do not bring wine or beer to the restaurant or pergola that you have not purchased from Ramusè. Thanks for your consideration

Breakfast is served from 8: 00-9: 30

I serve fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, cereals, honey, homemade jam, meats, cheeses, olive oil, bread and cakes.

Twice a week I prepare scrambled eggs from my Ancona hens

The price is 25 euros per person (15 euros for children) excluding wines.

Dinner is different every night and the menu can be found on the chalkboard every morning.

The dishes are prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients from my garden and local farms. Many products I use are part of the biodiversity of the Marche region and are of the highest quality.

Black summer truffle

Ramusè is immersed in an area where it grows naturally and where truffles are cultivated.

There is a short period in summer, when the truffle is at its best. During this time I use fresh truffles to create different dishes

and after much research I found the solution to preserve truffles in the best way.

If you want to buy truffles please ask me and I will do my best to find quality truffles.

In October and November, here in Ramusè I can find black and white truffles. If you want to be part of this experience please talk to me.

Animals

There are many animals living in Ramuse; they are all very sociable.

Tinker Bell is my truffle dog.

The cats are called Carota, Adolfina, Puma, Zamp and Merkre

Melissa and her daughter Coccola are of pure Sardinian breed. The donkeys roam around Ramusè, they love to be brushed and fed (but please only fruit and vegetables).

The pond next to the trees has its own ecosystem, there are toads, frogs, dragonflies and irises. The water is only 30cm deep

After dinner you can step outside the dining room and use my bat detector.

This machine with a flashlight allows you to see and hear bats using their echolocation system in the night sky.

Ramuse is far from other homes and is located in the heart of the Marche countryside and offers you the opportunity to see the stars in the night sky where there is no light pollution.
